Welcome to the Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the leading and only civilian multidisciplinary rehabilitation Institute in the region which has a solid past and an exciting future. The field of physical medicine and rehabilitation is relatively young and growing in our country. An increasing number of people with disabilities are demanding reasonably good quality of life which is only possible when health care practitioners and society have a general understanding of the field and the integral role of
its practitioners.

SIPM&R has developed over time and now proudly offers full range of clinical/academic with experienced multi-disciplinary faculty under one roof  providing academic, clinical and research experiences in a prestigious facility. Additionally, it is the first Institute in the province to be accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan for residency training in this specialty. The academic services of the Institute includes residency  program in physical medicine and rehabilitation and degree programs in Physical Therapy, Audiology & Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Prosthetics & Orthotics.
